"Quite lovely people and overall atmosphere however I have had a few mouldy fruit or veg before hidden by labels, not of anyone’s fault specifically just inconvenient. Never had any other issues there!"

"I wasn't sure where I should leave my concerns from this mornings encounter, at approximately 11:30 a.m. I was ordering chicken wings and very rudely interrupted....this may have been a supervisor or manager abruptly come and verbally attack one of her fellow team members working from the deli in front of other customers about recommending a marinara sauce to a previous customer and because she couldn't specify the pre-made white sauce by brand name the supervisor or manager rudely embarrassed her and belittled her in front of passing by customer while stating.....why would you and next time advising her to keep her opinions to herself.... in a very loud manner..... Still ranting and raving about it as she was walking away, this worker also in a loud voice asked the butcher gentleman who was unpacking and checking stock if he knew what she was talking about. He replied no as you could clearly see his mannerisms were wanting to dismiss her attitude and reactions. After this encounter I reassured the deli lady that that kind of attitude was not professional and ask her if she were ok. My personal opinion may not mean much but there is nothing wrong with the customer asking for advice on what types of sauces to have with a product that he has brought and her recommendation was perfectly fine there was no need for somebody like that to rip into them in front of other people... how upsetting to see in our local small town supermarket."

"Got all all the basics plus more. Prices are very reasonable. Some really good weekly special, starting every Wednesday also Wednesday is Pensioner's discount day. % of whole of shop, show your card to receive. It's not much, but we all know that every cent counts when Albos government doesn't give a toss about anyone other than themselves."

"Clean and carrying a great range of products, including some special items/brands not usually found in Qld supermarkets. The recently installed shade sails in the carpark are a terrific and welcome addition. Well done Drakes."

"Many times I have whizzed in and whizzed out to buy essentials for the caravan as I stopped over during the holidays. However over Easter this month, I had a good look around Drakes and was so surprised at the really wide range of grocery staples, produce and mouth watering delicatessen items, on show at Drakes. The premises were clean, the stocks were ample for the Easter rush and the service remained personable and friendly. What a bonus for a country township like Lowood. WELL DONE DRAKES, great staff and imaginative management."
