"Bought a Samsung Odyssey G8 that worked well for three weeks, then began flickering and producing smoke from the ventilation ports. Brought it back to the store where they plugged it in and confirmed that it was faulty. They outright refused any sort of refund or replacement (as per consumer rights), telling me that it had to be sent back to the manufacturer for repairs instead, which would take at least another 2-4 weeks where I would be left with nothing. After one week and numerous emails/calls escalating the problem to higher tiers of management where I outlined the ACCC's policies and threatened an ombudsman complaint, they eventually decided to follow the consumer laws and offer me the replacement I'd been asking for since day one. Sure, their prices might be slightly cheaper than other stores, but they are not worth the headache. Do not buy from here. Support law-abiding businesses instead."
