Country Road - Chermside

"Extremely disappointed to arrive at the stores doors at 4:08. To discover them locked. Website said they were open until 5 pm. The salesperson inside the store indicated that they close at 4. I had rushed from my commitments to reach the store at this time. Believing that they would be open. Most inconvenient. I was very upset, as I work full time and have other commitments with elderly husband and mother, neither of whom drive any more. Change the information on the website so folk like me do not waste valuable time. I won’t be able to return to the store for at least 2 weeks. If I didn’t have to exchange husband’s present from our son I would not bother if this is how little they consider their customers. Not good enough"

"the chermside store customer service was not that good. Especially one of the staff. She wasn’t friendly at all, the way she talked and acted gave me the feeling like I shouldn’t be there and bought the clothes at 8:50pm. Because they close at 9pm. I checked the time was 8:50pm, and she followed us and closed the door on us as fast as she could once we got out the store and actually there were other customers inside the store. And I could see there was no patients in her face to any of us. She just wanted finished the job so badly. And I felt like I was wasting her time."

"Variety of mens, women's and children's clothing and accessories available. Including shoes, handbags, scarves, hats, jewelry etc. Had difficulty finding a sales assistant for help locating sizes. Ended up not purchasing what I came for as was unable to find it. Will order online instead."

"I purchased a pair of white shorts from this store and didn’t realise until I went to wear them that they were marked pretty badly so I took them back still with tag on, receipt and in the same bag about 10 days later and the staff member said ‘it’s a hard to exchange with stains’ and tried to use a stain remover in which I said I don’t want stained pants I’m requesting a new pair as I need to wear them tonight. The lady rolled her eyes and was so rude and said ‘I’m just going to get you a new pair out of good grace’ she aggressively got a new pair and and said ‘looked these aren’t stained I’ve checked them’ and treated us like we were the worst people on earth. As a business owner I would never want such a rude individual ruining my brand. Such a shame as country road clothes are amazing."

"Horrible experience with service here: •Took estimated time of (20 minutes) to find a throw rug in a different colour, also took (3) staff members to find it at back. •No airflow threw the store making time waiting very difficult and stressful. •I'm no Karen but the staff here are very judgemental and rude, seem to help on their standards and not customers needs (This is why I shop elsewhere)"
