To attend the Atrial Fibrillation Institute, you will need a referral from your GP. Your Cardiologist or Electrophysiologist will play a crucial role in your ongoing management, taking the time to understand your test results, explain the condition, and develop a personalized treatment plan. If additional testing is required, we provide access to a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing through our Queensland Cardiovascular Group sites.

Our specialists will discuss your treatment options with you, including medication and procedure options, as well as lifestyle changes to improve your symptoms. They will also guide you on when it's important to go to the hospital for your Atrial Fibrillation.

We understand that Atrial Fibrillation is a condition that stays with you for life and changes over time. That's why we offer follow-up care, working closely with your GP to support your ongoing treatment.

Our team of Electrophysiologists is available 24/7 for heart rhythm conditions, providing on-call support to GPs and multiple private hospitals in South East Queensland.
