At RM School of Woodworking, we are proud to have Rob McKee as our head instructor. With over 48 years of experience in the woodworking industry, Rob is a qualified Woodmachinist and Technical Teacher. During his 18-year career as a Technical Teacher, Rob taught apprentices and prevocational students the art of furniture manufacturing and safe usage of woodworking machinery. Additionally, he has taught thousands of individuals in South East Queensland through his Adult Education evening and weekend courses.

Rob's expertise lies in woodturning, making him one of Brisbane's leading adult woodworking teachers. Building upon the success of his woodturning courses, Rob expanded his curriculum in the mid-1990s to include furniture making and specialized router courses. Today, our courses cover a wide range of woodworking skills such as the use of hand and power tools, grinding and sharpening, furniture restoration, and much more.

To secure your spot in our courses, a 25% deposit is required one month prior to the course start date. The final payment is to be made in the week leading up to the course. We accept payments in cash, by cheque, or through direct deposit. Please note that we do not run classes on long weekends, public holidays, Mother's Day, or Father's Day.

We understand that life can sometimes get in the way of attending classes. Therefore, if you miss a class for any reason, we offer free make-up classes to ensure you can complete your training or project at no extra cost. Additionally, we provide flexibility by allowing students to swap time slots if work or family commitments clash with their regular class times.
