Reviews of St Bernard's Catholic School
"Our youngest child did their last 5 terms of primary school here. An overall positive experience."
"Bullying and assaults occur regularly between students with little to no regard by senior staff for student safety or their obligation for duty of care. Education needs of students fall through the cracks also. Would not recommend this school at all. If you value your child's educational, social, emotional and psychological needs, avoid this school at all costs. The school refuse to take responsibility for incidences and escalation to BCE gets you knowhere."
"Wonderful school, extraordinary staff and teachers. The communication between the school and our family during the enrollment process was incredible. The Principle is an extraordinary person, very warm and kind. The most important of all is that our son is loving it and enjoying every day. My son feels so good that his love for reading has increased remarkably and now spreads many books on his bed to read every night, not as a homework but as a normal part of the day. This is a genuine nurturing school. Very welcoming! I would give more starts if I could. Thank you St Bernard's for everything."
"I loved this school. I just graduated yesterday and it was amazing. Lovely teachers (especially Mr Galway, Mr Eickperger, Mrs McCarthy and Mrs Fowler) These teachers put a lot of effort into their students, I wish that I could never leave this school. Yuko Sensei is our Japanese teacher and she is the most kindest and she is productive with her students. Most of these teachers are in grade 6 but some teacher I recommend in the lower grades is Mrs Bertini (Even though she won't be here in 2019), Mrs Boyle (Won't be a teacher but will be a relief teacher), Mrs Joseph (SHES THE BEST! She was my grade 3 teacher and now teaches the grade 4's, Mrs Rutledge in grade 5 (She was my grade 4 teacher) and many more. I love this school so much. Grade 6's of 2018 I loved the year with you guys. Will miss you all greatly. Peace Out joey"
