Reviews of Redcliffe State High School
"The math teachers are amazing excluding Mr Doyle, who told a kid he was dumb and should drop out of certain classes that he was more than qualified to do (the student did drop out because of the damage to this students confidence the teacher caused). Science is overall fine but not taught overly well probably to the lack of qualified teachers at the school from how short staffed it is. English is taught and done fine and is overall good. Most of the teachers are fine except for a select few who definitely shouldn’t be working as teachers. Education aside there’s increasing fights every week, averaging around 2 a week at the moment. The bullying is horrible and causes a lot of students bad mental health issues. The social issue is really horrible and the teachers see it and do nothing about it."
"When I first went there to check out the school in Year 6, I never got to do the RC car thing. Needless to say, I was bawling. Also, the Lighter Fluid story."
"Redcliffe high school is probably the worse school to attend in Qld. The bullying and harassment is insane and the school fails to help anyone the school I am glad that I'm leaving this school the teacher barley know what they are doing and half if them don't even have any experience in the areas they teach this is due to the short staff and the amount of kids. The school has little money and cares only about the schools sports teams and the colour of your socks. All and all the education at this school is shockingly bad and the students are even worse I do not recommend this school."
"The school has some really oddly rude office administrators so avoid the place at all cost, as most students do. Rethink the staff hiring process please. Good eshay to emo ratio. When a class is silent and somebody farts extremely loud, it will probably bring you the most joy you can get here. Saw somebody get smacked with a pizza sub."
"let me start by saying the tuckshop food is bomb and worth being broke for. secondly, its literally just a wannabe private school thirdly, students here wake up everyday choosing the be the most irritating people on the planet. finally, the overpass should be wider because idk"
