As a pre-prep to Year 12 coeducational college, we are dedicated to providing a holistic education that nurtures each student's individual needs and talents, helping them reach their full potential in life.
At Brisbane Christian College, we believe in the power of knowing each student by name. Our experienced team is committed to guiding and developing students' thinking and behavior, creating a caring atmosphere where they can grow and expand their horizons. We see the collaboration between family, school, and church as vital to benefitting each child's life.
Starting in our Pre-Prep program, your child will experience the joy and wonder of childhood and the world in a caring environment where they learn through play. In Prep, they will build a solid foundation for their formal learning years, continuing their play-based education alongside primary school students.
Throughout the primary school years, students will engage in a rich worldview and tap into their individual learning styles. Brisbane Christian College offers authentic learning experiences and a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities every day.
Middle school is a time of discovery and making choices that will propel students into their senior schooling years. In a supportive and challenging environment, they will focus on character development, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and leadership opportunities.
We are passionate about preparing students for their future, whether they choose a tertiary or traineeship pathway. Our goal is to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the next season of their lives.
Choosing Brisbane Christian College means choosing a Christ-centered philosophy that not only focuses on academic potential but also helps students step into all that God has planned for them. Reviews of Brisbane Christian College Primary Campus
"I'm not really sure what religious bullying is but my 4 year old daughter came home from prep singing worship songs to the All Powerful God. What an absolutely splendid activity for the human soul. Not only does the worship bring praise to our Great God, but it also brings joy into the heart of the worshipper. The ocean waves crash on the rocks as they burst forth in excitable worship. The wind tunes the branches and the leaves in a great orchestra of worship. The birds sing their songs, the Wales and the dolphins leap for joy in the presence of our great God. And now my 5 year old daughter has joined the great choir of worship that naturally bursts forth out of all of God's creation. "Way maker, miricle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness, that is who you are" if that were the only thing that she learnt, my soul would be comforted that she has learnt how to inherit pure joy directly from our Great God and in tune with the rest of God's creation, but there is so much more. "Daddy Daddy, I read something." Emily was so excited to share her new skills that she learnt at prep. "next customer please" as she read the grocery separating signs at Aldi. "Daddy Daddy, I read something" excited again to share her new skills "water dispenser". I thought "water dispenser" was fairly advanced reading for someone who hasn't started grade 1 yet. "Daddy, what's a dispenser?". Her reading skills are more advanced than her vocabulary. If this is the result of religious bullying, please keep bullying her. Emily is certainly flourishing at Brisbane Christian College. I shudder to think about what kind of religious bullying she might suffer if i booked her into an educational institution in Afghanistan. Keep up the good work BCC."
"This is not a loving Christian school. Not as selfless, tolerant, caring and loving as Christ. A lot of staff are ruled, no resources , drama. It is unacceptable that any child does not live up to their expectations. It's a disappointing school. I must say that this school does not treat their students like Christ at all."
"I went to the Southside Christian College from 1992-2000 (grade 1 - 9). When I think about my days at SCC it gives me a smile and I wish I could go back in time to relive my days. Remember Esters small house on the left-hand side guys? She would tell me she would watch cartoons in the morning and when she hear the first bell she would walk one step out her property into school. Back then I was one of the first Asian kids and I never experience racism from staff/ teachers because their hearts are pure. I miss Mr Bankruff (I forgot how to spell his name) and Mr Eggins sir, I was so scared of you but you taught one of my classes and after that day I respected you so much. I had so many wonderful teachers. I forgot her name but she was an American lady who wore glasses and she had her son and daughter going to SCC, she was an awesome teacher. I wish I could talk to her and thank her. I'm not sure what the culture is like over there now but that school made me the man I am today and I have nothing bad to say about Southside. Why did Taylor always lose at swimming, athletes and cross-country? I swear someone rigged the house groups! I miss you Southside Christian College and all my friends I grew up with. If you are wondering about me, I'm ok and I'm happy, I will see you guys again one day. God bless Pitou Ieng"
"Brisbane Christian College is a great college with passionate teachers and staff and Mr Morrision and Mr Eggins are dedicate and respectable leaders of the College. We had wonderful Chinese Cultural Tours for the last few years with the college students. 很棒的学校,学校校长和团队们很用心,学校也很多元化,祝学校越办越好,大展宏图。"
