Welcome to Shapland Swim Schools - Ipswich! Located at Silkstone, Cambridge Street, 23, our establishment is a renowned health and educational point of interest in Australia. As the new owners of the swim school, we, Lucas and Marie Shapland, are thrilled to introduce ourselves and share our passion for swimming education.

With two young boys of our own, Bernie (8) and Murphy (7), we understand the importance of water safety and the joy of learning to swim. Swimming runs in our family, with four generations of swimming teachers, including my father Chris Shapland, grandfather Bernie Shapland, and great-great-grandfather Thomas Shapland. I have personally been teaching swimming for over 20 years, gaining extensive knowledge in teaching students of all levels, from infants to advanced swimmers.

We have been successfully running the Shapland Swim School in Moorooka since 2012, and now we embark on this exciting new journey in Ipswich. We are both nervous and optimistic about continuing our family legacy and providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for our children and yours.

At Shapland Swim Schools - Ipswich, we offer semi-private classes of three students per class. This ensures personalized attention and effective learning for each child. Our swimming lessons cater to students from as young as 5 months old, emphasizing the importance of water safety from an early age. Each lesson lasts for 20 minutes, and we ensure that only two classes are in the pool at any given time to maintain a conducive learning environment.

Our fully enclosed heated mineral pool provides a comfortable and safe space for swimming lessons. In the cooler months, our change rooms are also heated, ensuring a pleasant experience for both students and parents.
