"It was a pity they didn't have the lamb shanks. But the beef ribs was probably the best beef ribs we ever had. It was so tender and the flavour was just amazing. Portion was huge we ended up sharing one ribs between two person as I didn't get to have the lamb shanks. Meatballs were abit dry and not as flavourful. But fetta triangles lamb pizza was great! My friend enjoyed his grilled land platter as well. Do recommend the place it's wonderful. Will have to come back again one day for the lamb shanks."
"We went here with 10 girls for a bridal high tea. The atmosphere was really aesthetic, ‘fancy’ with pink dimmed lights and modern seating. The middle eastern themed bites were really delicious. We had hummus on bread, falefels, spinach curry puffs and meatballs served on a bed of cous cous to start with. This was followed by an array of miniature desserts. The girls loved the unlimited tea and coffee option. We tried Turkish coffee, hot chocolate and different teas. It was an amazing venue with flavoursome food. It was a high tea but we all left full. Although we pre-ordered the high tea, and requested non-alcoholic drinks to be served on arrival, we were asked whether we wanted to have alcohol on arrival. However, we then were given the chance to order mocktails. We also had a few drinks or items that were not served so we had to remind the waiters, who then remembered to bring it to us. Overall, it was a beautiful afternoon spent eating mouth-watering treats with my favourite girlfriends and I would definitely recommend the Mecca Bah High Tea."
"Recently had the high tea with a group of people. The high tea for $60 is a good option here. This place is halal which was the main reason for choosing this place for high tea. Though I had booked with certain requests in relation to the food and drinks option for the high tea it seemed that those requests weren't even read for the high tea booking. The service was good other than forgetting/taking time for drink orders and taking a while to give us the dessert which for both the group had to remind servers quite a few times. Overall do think I would come again to try the main menu."
"Nice drinks but expensive for what they are, food is not it. $31 for a prawn salad with mostly green leaves and beetroot? Plus a high surcharge on sundays and long wait time - rushed our order in but didn’t see any food for over an hour , an entre, followed half an hour later by our actual meal of salad … was not busy either. disappointing as I had been here previously and liked it, had previously been on a Saturday night where service was slow again but food was decent. Left tonight feeling bad I had suggested this place to my friend. I’m not one to leave bad reviews and I feel bad as I’m writing this, but our bill of $130 was not worth it at all."
"Six of us dined early Dec 2022, just as all the Xmas gatherings were kicking off. The restaurant was bustling and we loved the booth that was reserved, only thing - because it was so noisy, it was hard to have a conversation! To our relief, there was a table outside. The staff were gracious and aided us in our move outside after our initial drinks. The food was delightful and atmosphere fun and festive. I would recommend."
