"You refused to take my calls. I had ten thousand dollars to buy two scooters, I wanted to buy the best. Why don't you answer calls. Your website tells me your open. You lost a ten thousand dollar spender. Why no answer????????"
"Had scooter puncture repair this week, done within time frame given , cost was as quoted and staff very helpful and gave me tips on maintaining the tyres etc. Will definitely use them again if have any issues with our scooters! Thank you."
"We've enjoyed the whole process... From being allowed to test ride a range of scooters, to purchasing, through to service & maintenance. Mitch and the team are second to none. Use your feet to do the talking (until you own a escooter or ebike from High Voltage Scooters N Bikes that is)... Another small business at its best. Helping people wherever they can. 100% Recommend."
"Called early last week to ask how much it would be to fix my Apollo Scooters tire; $60 if they have to replace the tube. Drop the scooter off Thursday, asked to confirm it would be $60 if the tube needed replacing; yes it’s $60. Picked up the scooter this morning, at the register, “That’ll be $57.50”, then there’s eftpos problems so I wait patiently a few minutes, problems are fixed and I pay and leave only to look at the eftpos receipt when I get home that I’ve been charged $77.50. Called to question about it and straight away they’re on the defensive “labours gone up” “I’m not discussing this with you” “we’ve changed our prices”; in 3 minutes? Highly unlikely. Customer service is non existent and Mitchel is incredibly rude. Would definite avoid the business and the new one their setting up High Voltage Scooters N Bikes, probably changing the name to get away from the bad reviews. Edit: Funny how you say prices went up a few weeks ago when on the phone this week you said they went up this week and Mitchell told us 2 last week is was $60 and at the register this Tuesday it was $57.50 and since I didn’t check the eftpos receipt until getting home and was told by you that I was being charged $57.50 I had no reason to believe I was charged incorrectly. And last Thursday I was told 2-3 business days for the scooter to be fixed which should have meant I would have picked up the scooter by Sunday if anyone bothered to call after it was done (I had to call Tuesday morning since no one made contact) so the whole price rise thing is irrelevant since I should have been picking it up before you originally claimed it happened. ACCC and OFT have my complaint on record."
"Avoid this business!!! After taking our scooter in for a simple tyre change way back in September, it no longer worked. Admitting that their apprenctice mechanic had worked on it (due to the normal mechanic having an injured hand), they said they would fix it for us. Over a month later, when we hadn't heard from them, they turned around and tried to blame us. They have since refused to accept any responsibility and have been extremely rude, with the owner (Mitch) refusing to communicate with us at all. They have now told us that they are dumping our scooter with the Redcliffe police. Disgusting. I don't know how these people are allowed to operate a business. There seems to be lots of others here that have been treated badly by this business. I would suggest reporting them to the Office of Fair Trading as they need to be held accountable. #UPDATE Despite telling us in an email that our scooter has been taken to Redcliffe Police Station, I have contacted Redcliffe Police Station and learned that they haven't received our scooter. Also, Ride Electrical told us in an email that they are no longer communicating with us and that if we have any questions, we are to refer them to their legal team, R B Margate. So, I rang R B Margate to find out where our scooter is and they informed me that Ride Electrical North Brisbane was not their client. While R B Margate were very polite, they did seemed concerned that Ride Electrical was using their name and pretending that they were representing them. This whole situation is absurd. I have never dealt with a business like this before."
