"Seriously the guru of air cooled VW’s! I don’t know why I didn’t come here in the first place originally. We’d been taking our Kombi elsewhere, however after getting it back worse than we had left it… we were at a loss of what to do! That’s when a couple of friends recommended Dandy Volks and Max. Initially I was hesitant due to the reviews on Google… but they could t be more wrong. Max went out of his way to check over the entire Kombi to make sure he understood the ins and outs of it thoroughly. Kept me updated on the progress and when I came to pick it up took me into the workshop and showed me the old parts and explained to me how they all operate and why my Kombi was running so rough. I’m extremely appreciative of the effort and work Max had done to the Kombi. It drives the best it’s ever been since we’ve owned it. Not to mention the prices we were charged were exceptional value for money. Thanks again Max, you’ve got us as a customer for life now. Highly recommend Dandy Volks."
"Max and Vince are craftsmen. The work they have done on my 58 Kombi is nothing short of miraculous. They take an astonishing level of care and have shown rare skill in bringing this van to life. Max does not suffer fools and he is old school - treat him with respect and you'll get the same back. I can assure people that any negative reviews of Max is almost certainly because they were fools and rude to Max. If you need an expert on AIRCOOLED VWs, go here."
"This is the worst place possible to take your car. Absolute rubbish and will over charge for works not carried out. Doesn't oversee apprentice work. Gives back car filthy with grease marks all over. Just completely filthy. Worst mistake i've ever done."
