"I have recently ended my tenure at SCMB with much sadness. However this means I'm giving this review without a horse in the race. I've had the privilege of working alongside some phenomenal support workers, some of the best in the industry. I've been able to see the lives of participants improve in so many ways in such short amounts of time, which I have never seen before. I've been in the industry in various roles for 12 years and in two different countries and I can say they are among the best with ease. I would recommend SCMB to anyone who wants high quality support for themselves or their loved ones, and a company that will listen and act on your goals support not only your goals but your dreams. If you are looking for employment, you will be valued, and known as an individual not a number. There is always a level of care for employees that goes beyond what most support providers offer. Nothing is ever perfect, but this is as close to it as you can get. I don't think I've ever been as heartbroken to leave an organisation before, but if l, or any of my family members needed support, SCMB is who I would turn to because I know that as an organisation, they will work tirelessly to live up to their promises of quality support, including boutique recruitment and matching. Retention is really high, both with participants and support workers. It's an organisation that will help you find the feeling of "home"."
