The Skukum Lounge, also known as The JB, is one of Brisbane's original and most esteemed hole-in-the-wall independent venues. In the back room, you'll experience live music, adding to the organic ambiance of the venue. If you venture further inside, you will discover one of the coolest live music spaces in Brisbane. With a capacity of approximately 45 seated or 60 standing guests, our back room has become a legendary venue in the city. We have had the privilege of hosting esteemed musicians such as Robert Forster, Ed Kuepper, Ryley Walker, Stephen Cummings, Kristin Hersh, Kim Salmon, and Dave Graney. Additionally, we have embraced Brisbane's contemporary indie scene, featuring acts like Wet Season, Doggie Heaven, Fraser Bell, Square, Girl and Girl, Fenrir, and Renee Spijker, leaving audiences in a state of delirium.
