With over 15 years of automotive experience and a passion for racing, our small but dedicated team thrives on helping the Croydon community with their car service, repairs, and maintenance needs. We specialize in servicing and building race cars, but we are also well-versed in working with all makes and models.

Gavin, our expert mechanic, has over 15 years of experience and a valued and loyal clientele. His automotive expertise ensures that your car is in the best hands. From go-karts to racing Hyundai Excels and Formula V, Gavin's passion for racing has been with him since childhood. In 2021, his current project is building his own competition truck.

Gavin's journey in the automotive industry began with completing his apprenticeship in a European luxury car workshop. In 2011, he bought his first workshop, Bee Kay Motors in Ringwood, and then established Carrera Automotive Repairs in 2013. These experiences have shaped Carrera into the fully equipped and trusted workshop it is today.

I rolled in to the shop with a gutted solenoid (a freak occurrence) and believe that another mechanic would have replaced the entire starter motor.
