"I went to this mob about 10 years ago, can't remember what I had done but apart from that (overpriced) work I suspected that the front brake backing plate was touching the wheel and asked them to check it out while the car was up on the hoist, it was the backing plate, they moved it back by hand and charged me $20. They have sadly missed out on all those $$$'s that a regular customer would bring in but alas I believe the owner has no business sense and I have never been back."
"These guys give false RACV reports. They reported front and rear discs as undersized. Checked with another actual mechanic and both front and rear discs were 2mm oversized. Stay well always from these clowns"
"Unfriendly stuff, unprofessional customer service/behaviour and inefficient. I brought my car to Motorfix Mechanic to get a comprehensive vehicle inspection done (reason: I want to sell my car). Unfortunately, the customer service was very bad. One of the two mechanic guys was unfriendly right from the beginning. After getting the information, the inspection will last for 2-3h, I went in again to leave my mobile number. At this point in time the unfriendly guy grumbled to his colleague (who gave me a pen and paper) "he is the seller". This is very unprofessional as the result of the inspection should be the same, whether I am the seller or buyer. In addition, for what the guys checked, it took way to long. By saying that, I am a former car mechanic by myself. The report at the end was spongy and not well articulated - unclear what's ment. Some comments are even more unprofessional (e.g. "oil is black"; last service was done 5,000km ago, so what to expect?; even after a few days of driving oil is black after changing the oil). I can not recommend to go to this garage."
