"We bought a car that had the RWC done at this place. Within a week the car was making a strange noise on the front right side. We decided to have it checked but it 'broke down' before then. Took it to our the service centre who advised us not to get it fixed there as the initial assessor had not done a proper job and would refuse to refund us if we get it fixed by a different service. We spoke with the previous owner who connected us to this service and though they initially refused to, they agreed to get it towed to their centre, fix their mess and also fund the replacement vehicle. When we submitted the bill for the replacement vehicle, they refused to pay for it, then only agreed to pay for half. When we referred them to their previous verbal agreement to fund it given it was their mistake, they told us that 50% was what they could offer, take it or leave it. When we suggested taking it up with the AFCA, they said "all the best mate, they'll do nothing for you". When someone messes up with something as critical as a vehicle that could lead to road accidents or worse yet, loss of lives, the least they can do is apologise and fix their mess while absorbing the losses caused by their incompetence. To behave as if they are above the law and make light of another person's financial losses caused by their negligence shows the kind of service centre they are. PS: they fitted a wrong bolt to RHF callipers that came off during driving and caused damage to the vehicle rim and brake caliper."
