Reviews of Mulgumpin (Moreton Island) Vehicle Ferry Landing
"Beautiful clean water. Sunny white sand beaches."
"Moreton Island is the most beautiful place. It the loveliest beaches. Honeymoon Bay is my all time favourite spot, and I really love champagne rocks. If you have a four wheel drive make it your next holiday destination."
"Beware of the Car ferry at Moreton Island beach, next to the Tantanoola shipwrecks, especially if your a snorkler, or diver. Just over a week ago I was with 2 other snorklers and 2 divers, 3 of us almost dragged under the car ferry, towards the propeller. Due to a strong cross current the ferry was using it's motor's to provide some thrust so it could hold strong on to the beach while the cars alight, and the car ferry decided to use the exact same area divers snorklers and tourists use. We were swimming 75mtrs back to the beach from the northern most of the Tantanoola ship wrecks, a planned drifting snorkle/dive south to north (depends on the tides). There were no deck hands on the ferry checking for persons in the water. Very unprofessional and dangerous to use a popular tourist swimming spot as a ferry terminal."
"Discrimination, only allowing vaccinated people,,,I have reported you!"
"Landing area for the MICAT ferry from Port of Brisbane to Moreton Island. Be sure to deflate tyres while on the ferry to the island as the landing is right on the beach. You can inflate your tyres on the ferry on your way back."
