"I wanted to purchase a replacement flywheel for my landcruiser. Zoom auto parts sell a clutch kit with a flywheel for $998, or a clutch kit alone for $636. So I called them up and they confirmed they could sell the flywheel by itself for $362 (the price difference between the kits). They confirmed stock and said I could come down and pick it up anytime So I borrowed a car, took time off work and drove 45 minutes to their store (on eastlink, paying tolls) only to be told by the guy that the flywheel price was going to be $550. He was polite about it, but its really annoying as I wasted a bunch of time, fuel and tolls because of Zoom auto parts. Plus now I can't get a replacement flywheel for this weekend, meaning my car will be off the road even longer. So my advice is to be really careful with this store, you can't trust what their sales guy say."
