"We used flight centre Chermside to book our recent trip to Europe, and we are very disappointed in how our booking was done. 2 Weeks before we left, we saw by chance that on our invoice it said our motorhome was booked for 5 people, instead of 6 as booked and paid 5 months prior.(I asked twice for receipt that included our motorhome details, in the 2 months after booking done, never received it). It took 9 days for them to fix it, with them arguing saying mistake was on our behalf. No apology received. When we picked up our motorhome, everything promised by Flight centre, for instance camping table and chairs, barbeque grills, mountain bikes, Freeway Vignettes for Austria and Czech republic, not included, which ended up taking some of the pleasure away , since we could not sit outside, and more cost to buy Freeway Vignettes on top. They have twice assured us that they booked us GF meals. That was not done either. Definitely won't recommend their services."
"Its Good that they got me a better deal on my package by arranging flights in a certain way, i appreciate that, however as a "travel agent" they should think about asking some more questions of the customer and possibly explaining things a little more eg: i have a qantas ff account but wasnt asked and as such it wasnt taken into account so i now have problems with claiming missing flights.also this may possibly be connected to why i did not recieve a check in notification on my account or a digital boarding pass even after checking in on qantas website. Not quite sure, but flight centre 24/7 did help me to get the information i required and didnt have to wait to long on the phone. Also need to inform the customer if they require a visa (not an ETA ) or not for certain countries . FLIGHT CENTRE WILL NO LONGER ISSUE VISAS FOR CERTAIN COUNTRIES YOU NEED TO DO IT ONLINE . With previous engagements i have had plain sailing with flight centre but i understand covid has changed many things and they may be scrambling to reinvent themselves. Be aware of any extra requirements for o/s travel you can never do enough research yrself."
