"Fordham's Milk Bar has long been a popular Cafe located near the Hartwell train station in Middle camberwell. There is a park across the road for young children to play and outside seating is available for people with dogs or bicycles. I've been here many times for coffee or brunch, pre and post lockdowns. Recently, i came across an advertisement on Facebook promoting Fordham's Italian menu serving dinner. Food is ok. Has plenty of potential to improve. We will be back another day."

"I recently had the pleasure of trying the breakfast burrito at a cafe that left me utterly impressed. It was, without a doubt, the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Despite being a take-away order, the presentation was impeccable, showcasing the attention to detail and care put into every aspect of the dish. While the price was a bit on the expensive side, I can confidently say it was worth every penny. The flavours were exceptional, with a perfect balance of ingredients that made each bite a delightful explosion of taste. The burrito was generously filled with flavorful and high-quality ingredients, and the combination of textures was simply heavenly. What impressed me even more was the thoughtfulness of the cafe's location. Just across the road, there was a charming little playground, creating a wonderful setting for families with young children. It was a brilliant idea to provide an opportunity for the little ones to burn some energy and have a play while waiting for their orders. It made the overall experience even more enjoyable. After savouring the breakfast burrito, I couldn't help but wonder what other culinary delights awaited on their menu. If their breakfast burrito was any indication of the cafe's culinary prowess, I am eager to explore their other offerings. I have no doubt that their other items would be just as delicious and visually appealing."

"Fordhams has the look and feel of an old milk bar, but is priced like a high end cafe. The coffees were expensive and were ok in taste and the cheeseburger lunch special today was quite delicious, although pricey at $25 and the special sauce would have been much too spicy for my fiancée. I found that the service lacked the friendliness and attention which you would expect from a high end cafe and that the prices don’t match the service. Don’t get me wrong, it was fine, just not great. The menu was a bit confusing in that there was a coffee menu board listed with half of the prices blank, a takeaway menu board, a breakfast takeaway menu, a specials menu board and a different table menu. It would have been nice to know where to look a bit more clearly. I also wasn’t a bit fan of the baking paper under the burger because it tears with the moisture from the sauce and I ended up eating some of that too. But the burger was nice and a little spicy, the coffees are ok and the rest of the food looked nice too."

"This is a nice cafe in a quiet neighbourhood. Dog-friendly cafe, plenty of outdoor spaces, overlooking the station and playground. Food - I will come back for the fried chicken burger . moist , tender and crispy , I had specially requested for an open burger and works well for me. Coffee is not bad."
