"Lunch took forever to come out we were told this is coz we ordered the steak. The food is very over priced for what it is and not that nice. Asked to speak to the manager but they wouldn't come out. Very disappointed."

"Worst experience ever in an Australian restaurant so far. The nice lady that took our order was absolutely lovely, but after that it all went terribly wrong. We ordered (medium fried) eggs on toast, a burger and pancakes plus some drinks. The restaurant did not have many customers but it took forever to get the food to the table. It was delivered by a sloppy woman that couldn't be more uninterested in what she was doing. The eggs were way overcooked and very dry. The pancakes were clearly not fresh and went in the microwave for way too long as the edges were rock hard. The burger was sort of ok but not tremendously good. We complained about the eggs and a bit later about the pancakes. The 'manager' was called and she was not amused but we were offered a new set of eggs. The same woman came delivering them 10 minutes later but without new toast so we complained again. The woman looked angry and shrug her shoulders with an attitude that was killing the mood. We complained again and demanded we get refunded for the bad food. We eventually got a refund but not after we were told that we should have been grateful that she made the order twice. Come on, this is not customer service people! Shame on you."

"Beautiful smiling staff helpful very clean tables floors etc. Food was lovely we are very happy customers loved the iced coffee meal absolutely amazing. Great selection of food on menu and cakes muffins tarts prices good. 1 negative would love ceiling fans it’s very hot with doors open aircon is fighting to work. Staff look red hot on there faces and I know I was really hot and I was sitting under the air con duct ."

"We've never eaten in The Coffee Club before as, to be honest, we find the menu quite expensive. However, after a stroll along the beach we saw they had a breakfast combo special. It was great! $9.90 for a delicious breakfast burger and small hot drink. The breakfast burger was full of yummy bacon, spinach, tomato relish and a perfectly cooked egg. The chai latte was so yummy too. Will definitely be back. It was certainly a great incentive to get us in the door. Love the amazing water views. All of the staff I spoke to were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Only negative was that no one brought us cutlery or napkins, but that was no big deal to ask and it was promptly delivered."
