Redland Performing Arts Centre
About the Business
Welcome to Redland Performing Arts Centre, located at 16 Middle Street in Cleveland, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to be a popular tourist attraction in the area.
At Redland Performing Arts Centre, we offer a diverse range of performances and events that cater to various interests and tastes. One of our highlights is Heather Fairbairn’s fresh retelling of Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, which presents a dark collision of hidden identities and unrequited love. It is a compelling and unique interpretation that is sure to captivate audiences.
For those who appreciate music and dance, our Redland Sinfonia showcases a feverish collection of three centuries of dance moves. This high-energy performance is a delightful fusion of classical and contemporary styles, providing a thought-provoking and entertaining night of theatre.
We are also proud to collaborate with Play It Forward to present the first Redlands 'Sing for a Cure' fundraising concert. This event aims to support a noble cause while bringing the community together through the power of music.
In addition, we have Melissa Western celebrating the magnificent ‘50s era in a show filled with swinging jazz, powerful soul, and cheeky style. Her performance promises to transport you back in time and leave you tapping your feet.
We also believe in inclusivity and diversity, which is why we host performances from disability groups and vocal group Momentum. These fun-filled afternoons of family entertainment showcase the immense talent and joy that can be found in these communities.
And of course, we cannot forget about Australia’s most iconic puppet, who is back and naughtier than ever! Prepare to be entertained and amazed by his mischievous antics.
Finally, we would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands, waters, and seas where we work. We pay our respects to Elders, both past and present, and look towards a future of cultural appreciation and understanding.
Join us at Redland Performing Arts Centre for an unforgettable experience that celebrates the arts, community, and the rich cultural heritage of Australia. We look forward to welcoming you to our venue soon.

"I was very impressed with most aspects of our visit to see the Honey Sliders play the Harvest Album. Easy to get into the centre and the seating was excellent. It's one of those venues where there isn't a bad seat. Sound and lighting quality was great, and although we did not have a drink at the centre, it did not seem that hard to get to a wine or beer. Nice touch with free chilled water available on both sides of the entrance. The only negative being that on a very cold night it was quite cold inside the centre. Having been to the QPAC a few times it was great to park free in the street nearby. Finally really enjoyed the Honey Sliders and will be back again if they comeback to RPAC."
"I attended the Redlands Performing Arts Centre to watch Echoes of Pink Floyd as a couple. It was a very cold night in Brisbane and there was air conditioning or a draft coming from underneath the seats. This chilly air was blowing on the back of my legs. The front glass doors of the centre were wide open and this let in a lot of cold air, but the actual theatre itself was freezing cold for June. I mean very, very cold! There were people beside us using blankets to warm themselves, shivering, when they were all rugged up in jackets. It was like being at an outside concert the theatre was that cold. The cold air blowing on the back of my legs (I put my hands under the seat and could feel this cold air blowing right onto my legs) made it too physically painful to stay there and I had to leave before the interval. It's like they had the air conditioning set to 10 degrees in winter and it was blowing under the seats and straight on to my legs. The audience's comfort should've been considered here and yet it was so freezing it became painful, too painful to stay. My legs started to become numb. It was hard to move around since the seats are so close together and you sit shoulder to shoulder with the person beside you. There was nowhere for me to move my legs to escape this cold draft of air. Very cramped seating. If you go in winter months, take a thick shawl, rug up in fleece pants or something similar that will keep you warm from this chilly draft. But if you know you have trouble getting comfortable in a seated position with your legs down for a long period of time, then I'd recommend rethinking this spot. There is no room to move if you get uncomfortable. I have been here in warmer months and that was much more pleasant and I could stay longer, because it was warmer and it wasn't physically painfully cold to remain seated."
"Good to see contemporary artist. Nice concert hall. Seats a little hard. Out front, undergoing some reno's, including the addition of a cafe, which the venue needs."
"Always great shows put on here. We have seen Swing into Christmas, Mirusia and Jonathan Welch to name a few. Only negative, not enough seating inside whilst waiting. A lot of elderly go to your shows."
