Allied Express

"One extra star is for the delivery team leader of that day! But I don’t think two stars are gonna make them pay attention. It was a big big parcel from kmart, so I was expecting it to be a bit delayed. Btw the delivery team leader/ senior sounds quite” supportive” when the call was being transferred to her. Apologies that I made extra effort to them on Friday because my delivery was happen to be on Friday, and the driver SMSed me telling me he’s gonna come on the day so I assume it would be in next hours, so I called Uber back home. Turns out he hasn’t come yet. And not any pictures would be expected to be left on delivery for this company. Then I was really anxious like would I have lost the parcel?? I was a bit chaotic that day so I called the driver straightaway because I felt ignored and no pictures was left, he questioned me who told me they left pictures? And then I was a bit raising up voices because he wouldn’t listen, I was really anxious, why would the parcel not here after hours?? No one answered me that question after all. Then the driver hung up. I called the number of the delivery team. The one who picked up was firstly nice, and then told me she shall hang up and then call back. And she directly hung me up on the phone. Then called back and questioned me like why would you yell at him?? Ok Im knowing in Aussie white culture sometimes staff right is even higher than getting customers to come back to their stores, I totally get that. I was like because I thought that has been delivered. Then I asked her more sadly this time, like why would the driver said, my English was not good? She looks quite helping and objective, but I guess between the staff themselves only. She told me because he said he wouldn’t get the time to tell you because you were speaking fast!!! His English was “also” not good. Ok, I get that you get me more than I do. Ok, I get it, drivers deliver parcels without leaving a parcel is sometimes ok, and even notifying customers delivery before hours is their service principles. I was a bit frustrated since I feel like our point of view won’t always be in the same side and I guess some people do this to customers while others working, I’m getting used to it. I just felt I should have explained more from my side, so after that call, I made a call back after consideration. They was even more anxious and a bit aggressive negatively, and told me they gonna leave!! Finish the work! By interrupting my word / self disclosure that “ I thinked carefully”. I did that because the lady complained to me I shouldn’t have interrupted their work and yell at them, because that would only disrupt the delivery. And stuff. They said they would transfer to another lady. Once she picked up, I was gonna say” hi, my name is… what I was trying to say is…” she quickly interrupted me sounding nicely”: “ if you want to say more about the Same thing, I would still act be the same and repeat the same thing as those girls said..” I’m NOT VERY GOOD AT complaint or lodging a complaint, so I just said that I promised I was calmed down more, but since it was Friday I was also broken down physically and told her, that I was a bit doubting that the person who picked the call only stood by the drivers side. She “consoled me” that it’s not what I thought, asked me don’t overthink , and she said she would talk to the driver. Since that I never heard from them. Maybe? I don’t know if that is a passive aggression, cuz like ppl all know; sometimes if you judge customer services here, the people will act seriously only to protect their own rights. And they don’t care about what happened in others. Hopefully it’s getting better now."

"I've had two deliveries from them so far and they came on time and in tact. They also sent SMS notifications so that I knew it was on its way."

"The worst customer service in the entire courier industry. Got my package delayed for weeks, when I encountered with customer service, they snap at me. Better to arrange a Mindfulness program to every customer service agent in Allied express."

"Worst company ever Sends sms saying your delivery is today, then you need to down load an app. Goods never arrive and when you ring their customer service number, the driver didn't even take the package, and they can not tell you when delivery will be "some time in the next few days", and can't get you off the phone quick enough, if you have issues with them they even have the balls to tell you go back to where you purchased the goods from. Needs a zero star option"

"This company does not even deserve one star. Your driver attempted to deliver my item on 01/12/2022. The driver called with No caller ID twice, which I accidentally missed at 14.09 and 14.10. He did not even bother to ring the bell in the apartment to let me know he was there. Then when I tried re-scheduling the  delivery through your inefficient website, it automatically re-booked for a date 05/12/2022, a date that I was not even home. I called your company at 8 AM on the same day to inform them of the changes as I received an email saying the package was out for delivery. I was dismissed by the person who answered the call and told me to call back at 8.45 AM to the delivery department. Not long after, I called Allied Express and arranged delivery for Wednesday 07/12/2022, the only day I am home. Then on the same day I received a call from a driver at 11 AM saying they are about to deliver. I asked him whether he received instructions from the company with regards to the change in date, and he responded no. Then,  I informed him of the change. Then, I received an email on Wednesday saying it was being returned to the sender. Honestly, get your communication together.  I would never recommend this company to be a courier partner."
