Allow us to introduce Loretta Henry, the driving force behind Elysium Theatre. Loretta is a descendant of the Tagalaka and Kaku Djungan people, and she was born and raised in Meaanjin (Brisbane) on Turrubul and Juggera country. Her Irish heritage from her mother's family adds another layer of cultural richness to her background.

With a deep passion for the arts, Loretta has been actively involved in theater production and presentation since her return from living in the UK in 1993. Elysium Theatre, established in 1999, has been a platform for Loretta to showcase her talent and share her love for the arts with the Brisbane community.

Loretta's creative interests span a wide range of mediums. From theater production and the written word, including children's picture books, poetry, plays, and puppet-making, to short film-making, she has explored various avenues of artistic expression.
