At Metro Arts, we are passionate about championing all contemporary art forms and fostering the creation of thought-provoking and exhilarating art. Our gallery and theatre spaces are dedicated to showcasing the best of Australian contemporary arts practice, both now and in the future.
We also recognize and acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal peoples as the custodians of the land on which we work. We honor their deep connection to the land, waters, and community, and we celebrate the rich story-telling and art-making traditions at the heart of First Nations' cultures. We believe that this cultural enrichment is invaluable to the lives of all Australians.
In line with our commitment to supporting First Nations' voices, Metro Arts accepts the invitation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart. We stand behind the call for a First Nations Voice to Parliament, which we believe should be enshrined in the Australian Constitution. To learn more about this important movement, please visit UluruStatement.org.
Please note that exhibition visitation hours may vary, so we encourage you to refer to the individual event web pages for specific details. However, our Window Gallery is open 24/7, allowing you to enjoy art at any time.

Reviews
"Intimate theatre space with well stocked bar. Service was friendly and fast. The location is perfect with numerous places to dine prior/post show. There's a significant number of stairs, I didn't notice if there was a lift. Toilets are located outside the theatre itself. Parking is on street or you can utilise local centre parking - the first 2 hours are free."
"What a great night! The atmosphere was awesome. Really enjoyed the show...Thanks Brisbaret!"
"Wooden building - rooms with spaces for dance classes and art exhibitions. Some rooms look great and others not so much. Came here for a few of these events."
