"Victoria has spent a large fortune on our rail network, upgrading stations, level crossing removals, the Skyrail, including Frankston. It is inconceivable that at the end of the platforms, a horrid amount of litter has been allowed to accumulate. I have photos from January 2020, June 2020 & September 2020 that show that none of this obscene mess has been attended to in that entire 9 months. To make matters worse, these photos show that the graffiti has been painted over by the authorities on at least two occassions during that time span. Frankston is a Bayside location, the beach is a mere four blocks, in a straight line, to Port Phillip Bay. Yet Metro allows thousands of plastic bags of all descriptions, along with every other type of litter imaginable, to sit there exposed to the elements without ever bothering to clean up. Quite simply, Frankston station and the Stoney Point line are a disgrace!"
