"Gloria Jean’s is a reasonable place for a drinks but don’t expect to come here for the best coffee. The frappes and iced drinks of various flavours are the selling point of the franchise, to the point where staff seemed disappointed we only ordered cappuccinos. This might be a kind of “Starbucks Effect” but I found it disappointing for a long serving coffee business to put more work into trend flavours than actual coffee. A decent thirstquencher for the summer season still."

"Working hard on trying to like Matcha and I think I’m getting there. Gloria Jeans certainly makes a good one and they along with my toastie was a good start to the day. Note that the size of the matcha was pretty large and found it quite filling. Might have to try a smaller size next time. Prices are reasonable, particularly if you go for their special offers. Staff are great. Place is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. Good parking as well."
