"Absolutely loved my experience at Event Cinemas North Lakes! The theater was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, making my movie-watching experience truly immersive. The variety of snacks and drinks available at the concession stand was impressive, catering to all tastes. Parking was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again for my next movie night!"

"Movies are getting to be unaffordable. You then pay extra to get better sound to only then sit in chairs that are splitting due to wear, tear and you have to assume multiple cleanings. Not the most pleasant experience any more unless someone gives you a voucher."

"Very disappointed in the 'bag stuffed full of treats' we got at chicks at the flicks tonight. There was not much special about it to be honest. I wouldn't spend the extra again. While there was a menu for the screening, it wasn't themed at all to the movie, It was nice.. but not $80 nice. Other locations seem to have engaged musicians or local craft Business for the event. Northlakes had a sweets bar .. with 4 varieties of sweets. The bartender was amazing and he did make an effort to put on some sparkles and help with food allergies etc."

"When you sit down for your movie, you must first sit through 30 minutes of ads (yes, ads totalling one third of the actual movie runtime). Event, that is really poor form. Anyway once you've passed their concentration test, and after blasting your eardrums with their pre loaded Dolby Atmos demo to show off their speakers, they proceed to misuse their audio equipment for the movie and you're left with a distant sounding echoed mess to figure out what the characters are saying. Once you get used to that, you can sit back and enjoy David Harbours Santa tearing people to shreds. The colours are incredible, and the popcorn is decent if it didn't get cold during the ads."
