"We popped in here as it looked to have a nice quaint and rustic charm. Coffee tasted good, although our flat white came out more looking like a cappuccino and service was a little confusing. A few little improvements and I think this would be a great place to revisit."
"Mother’s Day- admittedly never a good day to judge a cafe- but we chose this cafe as a smaller option that wouldn’t be as busy. We waited 40 minutes for our drinks(not at all crowded at this stage) and watched as the coffee machine sat untouched for a good 20 minutes. When a staff member finally emerged to make said coffee, it was a very good one. We then waited another 30min for food, which was pretty average quality. Veggie toastie with cold capsicum inside. Cafe 101 rule- clear dirty tables as people leave. Staff walked past dirty tables so many times, empty handed. No one seemed to know what was going on. Other guests left without their meals. They were short on staff, and the owner was short on charm- to guests and to her staff. Hard to believe a cafe could be so inefficient in Melb- don’t know how they are still in business. We all left feeling super anxious- just an all round disappointing dining experience."
"I wish I did not have to leave this review. I know this Cafe for several years now , and I always liked how they serviced. Nevertheless something happened.. some new staff around and just one person in the kitchen. I had to request my order take away after waiting for around 30 minutes and already finished my coffee. I hope they can read this as a potential to improve. Saddly I think I'll.think it twice before getting back again... frakily I was too hungover and I needed some food in my tummy asap unfortunately they let me die."
"Fantastic brunch spot with all day breakfast and lunch, great coffee. I had a "Meat the Day" and a Vietnamese Iced Latte (pictured). Absolutely sublime. Keen to come back and try the rest of the menu, everything sounded just as delicious."
"Great breakfast and easy on the pocket. Staff were friendly and the environment relaxed. Food was well cooked and delicious. Recommend this sport for a quick breakfast. Inside and outside seating, easy order with table service. Easy parking on weekends, right on the corner. Give it a go and shop local."
