"I did a return trip to the city. I had the 13 cabs app, and unfortunately , my card number. 2 trjps ,about 60 bucks each way. They charged me 4 more times ,over the next 2 days. No more business from me. They suck.try and dispute the charge on cabcharge.....hopeless."

"Too many bad experiences with 13Cabs. I do not understand why drivers in taxi ranks are allowed to refuse customers with a short distance or a wrong direction for them because they want to go home. Very unprofessional. This is a very good reason to take Uber!"

"Hailed a 13cabs cab at St Kilda earlier tonight, we (wife, 2 kids under 7 and I) get in and the driver asks where to? We tell him corner St Kilda Rd and High Street, he asks how far is that? My wife says about 10 minutes. At this point he asks "are you Stefan"? He tries to explain "I have a job booked and I thought you were him". I explain that if he accepted a job from dispatch his roof light would be switched off, and he wouldn't have stopped for us. I explain he is not allowed to discriminate based on how long the fare is, he is providing a public service and his licence to operate a taxi depends on it. He tries to convince me that he has taken a job under the name of Stefan from an address (he shows me a job on the dispatch scheduler and says he thought I was him waking down the street). I google the address and it's 1.1km away. Aha. At this point I ask him to show me his taxi photo ID card. He asks why, refuses to and gets defensive and argumentative. My wife is feeling quite uncomfortable at this point, doesn't want the kids to be exposed to this - I take a photo of the taxi ID holder and we get out of the cab. Turns out he wasn't displaying his ID card anyway. I'd love to report his behaviour, but the only thing I can do at this point is leave this detailed review and the photos I took. This promoted me to install the Uber app, as much as it saddens me to say it."
