"Great coffee!!! The food is classic and didn't impress me, but a quick breakfast in the area is a good option. My friend and I loved the coffee here and getting back for it."
"One of the best Cubano sandwiches I've ever had. Perfect cooked Cuban bread and combination of cheese, ham, picked and mustard was on point. Can not speak highly enough of this sandwich which was also well presented yet simple and effective. Looking forward to trying their other sandwiches on the menu and from what I've heard from fellow colleagues, it's all on par with the Cubano."
"We were on our way to St.Kilda beach and stopped by The Hunger Spot for brunch unintentionally. I would say that our experience was average. Service was good but not overly friendly. Philly steak was very cheesy but the brisket was nice though. Salmon bagel was ok. I wouldn't order it again as it didn't impress me with flavor or anything. It was a nice day, coffee was nice and the food was okay. Thank you for your service."
"The coffee was good but the food was the worst I’ve eaten in a long time. I had the vegan big brekky. The mushrooms were cold, the sausage was weird, and the cheese didn’t taste good either (I think it was probably Bio Cheese). The food was largely inedible and I left quite a lot of it on the plate."
"Awesome latte, a great blend and consistency is there. My first coffee of the day at 07:30 after a run and their oat milk latte has me converted, even have given up sugar ! Love their 'Game Over', a decent breakfast toastie where I've switched the bacon to thick slices of pastrami ... a definite regular now. Slowly working my way through their menu. Quality and presentation is impressive ... taste is there ... AND ... if going down the fried path, crinkle cut chips to boot, YUM. Love their New York inspired menu and finally a place that offers a decent sandwich that you can actually see the fillings. Value for money ? Totally !!! This is a hidden gem of a place where the staff are very friendly, up for a chat and nothing seems to be a bother. Alcohol ? Several types of beer or wine readily available and they also have a couple of American beers on tap. Dog friendly ? Yes, and I've noticed there's treats for those granted permission from their humans. Daily salad specials are super healthy which is great for those concious of their diet and fitness with several protein options .... Looking forward to their upcoming winter menu. May be dangerous living in the area as I don't think I'll be doing any cooking for some time."
