"If I could give this place a -1 star I would. The customer service was mediocre but I have had way better service elsewhere, I felt unappreciated, extremely awkward and that made me anxious. I bought a deluxe salmon sushi pack, a salmon sushi sandwich and a grilled salmon nigiri yesterday and have been quite unwell since, I have barely been able to eat I’m that nauseous. I have had sushi from sushi hub in other locations as well as other restaurants my entire life and not once have I ever experienced such underwhelming, flavourless sushi that also makes me sick, it wasn’t cold or even cool, it was obviously just made but the fish should have been cold from being safely refrigerated and flavour was absolutely disappointing. Normally it’s salty whether it’s been smoked or not and I absolutely felt off the second I had it in my mouth. I will say the sushi hub at browns plains and in queen st mall in the city is better or if you’re wanting good sushi in Sunnybank, go to sushi edo, not here. I’m not normally one to put negative reviews up about businesses unless I absolutely have to and unfortunately this is one of those rare times."
