"This morning I received the worst customer service I have encountered at a restaurant in a very long time. Having ordered 2 side dishes and toast I was charge $21.90 - This being a regular breakfast for me at other restaurants I queried this price as it seemed very high. In short I was told that although the sides could be added to a meal they could not be bought separately so I was charged for a meal with eggs and then the cost of the sides was added! I was told, by an incredibly rude young lady, that this 'had' to be done in this way as their till could not calculate just 2 sides and toast!! At no point when I ordered was I told I would need to pay more for my meal as they couldn't put what I wanted through on the till. I mentioned that they simply couldn't charge customers more because they didn't have a setting on their till to which the reply was ( very rudely) 'Yes we can, we do it all the time ........' she then went on to tell me how they charge a regular customer more, in the same way, every day!! I was not prepared to pay more than the menu prices for my meal so I asked to speak to the manager , the reply was ' well you can but she is going to tell you the exact same thing!' This young lady could simply not comprehend why I was questioning being charged more than the prices listed on the actual menu and the way she was handling a very simple customer concern was utterly appalling. The manager came and was very polite. She sorted out the problem within minutes and refunded me the amount that I was overcharged. Following this very unpleasant encounter I would never bring my family back to eat at Groove Train again and I would advised anyone else, to check their bill!!"

"Food. Impeccable. Could not fault the food, was so good. Service ...non existent. We waltech 6 wait staff hang around the bar staff gasbaging, laughing, even doing dance moves but not once after we were seated and had our food & drinks did any of them come and check in. Twice had to get up and go over to them to ask for things missing from our order that they forgot to bring. Like I said, food impeccable but service needs to improve. Kudos to the business for having so many wait staff. If they did their job, would have been an amazing experience! If you go there though, the pizzas are incredible. Best one I've ever had!"

"Food is good. The mixed grill plate is overpriced and overcooked, I would suggest to order a lamb shank, beef cheek or pork ribs to be more satisfying and put the money towards a drink and dessert."

"Food was good. Majority of the staff were polite and helpful. Only 1 staff seems to be a bit disorganized by arranging a table that fit 6 and put 10 chairs around it , to try and squeeze 10 pax. Lucky the supervisor saw and came to assist us. Either go earlier before 6pm if no booking, else it is better to make reservations as it can be quite pack during weekend."

"Not a great experience overall. We were not given tissues, fork, knife, water, glasses, small plates. For everything we had to call the waitress and they were not friendly. Sadly the tables next to us were being served with all i mentioned without being requested. Should I call this as discrimination as we are not the locals. I felt that honestly. The food was below par. The beefy cheeks which I ordered was not tasting good, it was odd. The potato pizza was very dry. So overall I wouldn’t recommend this place and we wouldn’t definitely visit again."
