"Checked to make sure the amount I was paying was correct, never claimed I wouldn't pay said amount, asked one of their lawyers if they were confident in the action they advised we take, and what we should do if the other party responds in the worse way possible. After a friendly talk on the phone, a friendly zoom call, and progressing through the case two basic concerns over SMS gets me the response of "My fee is as stated. I think it is best we that we do not continue" out of nowhere. I believe I'm safe in assuming the lawyer wasn't confident in his actions. I'm lucky I questioned them might of ended up paying a lawyer for something they aren't confident in doing."
