"Don’t bother going here if you would like to eat. Saturday 1130 am, can’t get breakfast items, they finish at 11. Tried to get lunch items (menu says lunch until 1 pm) Get told the grill is turned off, but would you like a 3 day old pie from the fridge heated up?"

"I don’t often share my thoughts on places I visit, however this hidden gem is my go to cafe for a lovely feed and an amazing coffee! Having just read some recent reviews, I’m disgusted by the comments made and feel it’s my duty to jump in and share some thoughts on my experiences here. This cafe has survived many challenges, the biggest being covid. Having taken the time to build a good rapport with the owner and staff I can tell you they are doing a fantastic job of servicing our community. All three girls there are really nice people and each have their own unique personalities and qualities which complement the business well. In a time where many businesses are struggling to survive, I find it very difficult to understand why some people feel it’s ok to publicly bash a business on things that can and should be addressed in the moment with management! If your coffee is too hot, ask for it to be re-made abit cooler, if your oat latte tastes different than expected, then ask if it was indeed oat milk in the first place! We are all humans and unfortunately mistakes can happen but without addressing it at that time how is anyone ever able to make it right! If you can take the time to write a terrible review on something that could have been fixed, surely you can make the time to bring it up there and then. I just can’t wrap my head around that! You must be living under a rock Mr Boris if you’ve never been charged a surcharge at any point in your life. Everybody knows that bank fees are extortionate and expecting a small business to wear those fees so you can have the privilege, not a right, of paying by card is just selfish. You’ve clearly overstepped the boundaries in taking the time to snap pictures of a particular employee who you can quite clearly see is head down working hard and then accusing her of ignorance. Shame on you for all that. Had this been a male employee I’m pretty certain you wouldn’t have been so quick to say or do what you did! Now I’ve gotten this off my chest, I’d just like to end with saying thank-you to The Global Local Cafe, Tarneit for always delivering the best quality of food, coffee and service! You girls deserve a medal and anyone who says otherwise is just an ignorant fool who’s so self entitled, they wouldn’t know a good thing when it’s right in front of them. "The atmosphere is great It's open alive and inviting Very bright and good background music The service is limited, it took a fair amount of time to be greeted when I waited at the counter. The only staff I could see was on the coffee machine and didn't even make eye contact. Eventually a staff came from the back of house She was lively, nice and definitely did what she could to make a good experience Food and drink Coffee was great The food aka the wrap I got was 80% greens 15% egg and the reminder was Bacon and egg To me the ratio was way off and what could have been a great breakfast became below average They do have a great mix of sweet treats if your after a sugar hit Another downside is the creditcard fees When your told the total price they don't mention it just add it Hence they may say you owe $30 but the cost that your billed is $31 Felt deceptive and took away from the experience"

"I usually grab coffee from my regular cafe but I was shopping at coles and came across this cafe. I had oat coffee which tasted not all like oat. It was burnt and I think even servo do better coffee than the one I had. Service was good but coffee was thumbs down."
