We are committed to serving all individuals without judgment, regardless of their creed, ethnic or social background, health, gender, or political opinions. Respect, trust, friendship, and perception form the basis of our relationships. We strive to transform the causes of poverty and challenge human injustice, while also encouraging spiritual growth and embracing innovation for a hopeful future.
As a nominating organization for the Australian Government's School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI), we are proud to support educational opportunities for young Australians. Additionally, we are always seeking motivated community-minded individuals to get involved in our programs, events, and services nationwide.
The St Vincent de Paul Society actively and passionately speaks out against the causes of poverty and inequality on behalf of the people we serve. We have witnessed incredible transformations, such as Samantha's life turning around with a helping hand from Vinnies, ensuring a bright future for her and her children. We have also supported individuals like J, who faced injury and job loss, and D, who experienced unemployment for the first time in her life.
As a lay Catholic organization, we are dedicated to creating a more just and compassionate society. We acknowledge that we are on Aboriginal land and pay our respects to all traditional custodians. This website may contain images of deceased members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, which we use with the utmost respect and appreciation.

Reviews
"The place to get good second hand clothes and shoes. It also has a good range of kitchen accessories, books and DVDs. Also they take second hand clothing and other products as long as they are in good condition. Don't bring any things that are rubbish or dirty clothes"
"Lovely clean store. Prices are reasonable. The people who work there are friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to visiting again."
"Unlikely to find a deal here. Selling Children's puffer jackets from Target ($15 new @ Target) with a 10 dollar mark up is a prime example of the store ethos. Seem to feel as if they are a pawn shop instead of an OP shop. Get very defensive of price and stated that they look up items on the computer and value them, which many op shops do, but they don't attempt to charge market value or, in the case with here, above (e.g. many items cost more than double what they do on eBay). Also somewhat shady, have had a few people have experiences where items won't be refunded the next day (like expired camera film or printer ink, that went out of date 10 years ago), which would just be binned in another op shop. I feel the shop has lost sense of its purpose, which is to sell these items to help others, and who their demographic is. The vibe is dead and staff act more like they are in servitude to the devil and every customer is a new plague sent directly to then from hell. With many other close by Op Shops try Salvos, the Brotherhood, or even Cash Converters for a better deal."
"Good quality items, fair prices. Excellent customer service from Jodie, so kind and hospitable."
"Small store but can sometimes pick up a good bargain."
