"They never said on the website that they actually didn’t even have stock of the microwave I purchased. Waited 1 month until I finally emailed asking when it would arrive. Turns out they never had it to begin with. Long story short they were suppose to refund me and they still have my money. This issue has been going on for two months! I wish I read some reviews before buying off them. Do not support this business it’s a scam!"
"I ordered a Miele vacuum cleaner on 18 February 2023 from Countdown Deals and am still waiting for it to be delivered. Australia Post investigated the non-delivery of the parcel on my behalf, and declared it lost. This being the case, I contacted Countdown Deals and requested a full refund for my purchase order. There was no reply to my email (no surprises) and consequently, no refund forwarded. Countdown Deals is highly unprofessional, inefficient and untrustworthy. I will not be doing business with them again."
"My experience with Countdown deals (Betta electrical Footscray) was great overall. I was looking for a Sunbeam air fryer and found that there’s was way cheaper than anyone. I bought it through Countdown deals and elected to click and collect because I didn’t want to wait for delivery . After I’d bought it I then decided to look at reviews and there were some scary ones in there from people saying “Dont buy” and “they didn’t have the product in stock” etc. I panicked and thought I’d been conned so I rang them on the mobile number provided and the phone was answered by Anna (on a public holiday) 27/12/22. I asked her if my oven was in stock and she said she would check the next day and that if it wasn’t in stock she would give me a full refund. I felt much better after talking with her. I rang the next day and it was in stock so picked it up. I suggest that if you find an item at a good price on their site just ring them first to check that it’s in stock before purchasing online. The staff were very friendly."
