Reviews of The Sugar Hill Café Rhodes
"This was my go to cafe in rhodes. They must have recently changed owner, the coffee was burnt, ordered the usual soy chai latte , it was tasteless, asked the owner if there was any Chai power, he was very rude in his response. Ive drank my fair share of soy chai latte to know what good taste like. Dont think we will be returning with a cafe owner who refused to take any constructive criticism."
"Wondering if the man there knows how to make coffee. Ordered 1 flat white for my hubby and 1 cappuccino for me both decaf seriously for our poor sleep, they came with no difference on taste and we both lost sleep that night. Disappointed!"
"3.2 - Hit and Miss - They have changed their menu and reduced seating. Nothing offered that is unique anymore. Service is also dismissive now, not listening if you want to sit here or takeaway. Their original offering when first opened included a Prana Chai (70 cents for Almond Milk = $6.70) and the taste was ok. Second time, it was way too sweet and I dumped it. Each time I ordered the Prana Chai, nobody knew what I was ordering and I had to point on the menu. I've been back a few times since as I like the location."
"The coffee is not good… almost no taste… nothing special. sadly it’s not as good as what other have described in other reviews. However they do have a designated area in Feb foodcourt which separates from other seats so you can chill out in that area."
"Not sure if it was just my bad luck, but the coffee I had there is the worst I have tasted for a long time. To be fair, it's the first coffee I bought from them, so it's hard to say if that's a reflection of what their normal coffee is like; perhaps it was just the particular barista at the time (I've seen other staff there at other times), but I don't think I'll risk it again."
