"Mediclinic in Clayton are a disgraceful business, who are focused on profit over the people! They do everything they can to maximise revenue by misleading the way things are billed, as well as using sneaky tricks to increase the number of visits. Essentially, they are an "American style" medical centre, who treat people is with complete contempt unless they act like a sheep and don’t question anything. Some of the Issues I had: - #1) When I visited this clinic, I was told that they bulk billed for the service I was there for and when I went to the counter afterwards, they tried to charge me for the consolation and became rude when I politely stood my ground and kept them to their word. #2 They called to preauthorize a payment for a short phone consultation to discuss rudimentary test results and they tried charging for a standard consultation which is almost twice the amount of what was required and they didn’t have the professionalism to politely explain why they were charging the higher amount, instead they were very rude and hung up. (Don't let companies get away with this behavior!) #3 They also use third party software platforms to collect personal data which has unreasonable terms and conditions about how the information is used and shared. Having said that the independent doctor who I saw seemed to be quite good."

"Things are getting harder with the rising costs of everything. Then, all of a sudden, Dr Andrada wants $70 for a consultation that usually goes; Dr "what can I do for you today ?", Patient "just a re-script thanks." Apparently, bulk billing is not enough to support his lifestyle. I am on the Methadone Program and need a re-script monthly. So every month before the doctor calls, the receptionist calls to demand the $70 through direct debit. If you can't pay, she will not put you through to the doctor for your re-script, which means you will be very, very ill. They know this and are talking full advantage of all us addicts."

"Worst clinic ever, receptionist is worst bad attitude bad behaviour. Very rude with patients. No respect for anyone. Doctor waiting time are very high. Doctors not concerned for patients issues just their fees. Waste of time and money. Poor and bad service From receptionist."

"When your test results don't come back, they make you two appointments without your consent, then you answer the phone, they charge you twice, it's terrible, it's a robbery, and they charge a lot more than other clinics, so avoid going to this clinic."
