"Went to visit my relative and was shocked that was literally feces on the floor in the room!! And in the hallway, I think I don't know what is going on. The toilets are stained with urine, the blanket had old food crusted onto it. Told the useless so called plump blonde nurse and she shrug and said she was going on break. Maybe if you did your job you wouldn't look like a pumpkin. Dont go here!"
"My father was transferred to The Mornington Centre from Frankston Hospital 3 months ago. With in that time I was kept in contact from physio to the doctors (I live in QLD) and the times I came down to see my father, the nurses/doctors and even down to the ladies who bought in his meals and drinks were all kind and courteous. My father passed away Christmas Day at 5.15 pm 25/12/22. Even up until that time, they were all caring and professional and could not fault 1 thing with this Centre. So from myself and my family and my father (Donald),RIP a huge thanks to each and everyone who looked after my father."
"My Dad was a patient at TMC for a few weeks November 2022. He had fallen at home & was transferred from hospital. At first TMC is confronting to visit. I wasn't expecting a locked ward. They do however have a person who makes patients and guests feel at home. The concierge Sam was a delight at the door and the nurses are friendly and patient. I have read other reviews and I can honestly say the staff are doing everything they can for the patients. The environment is always changing so they may not update families straight away but they do listen to concerns and speak with a team before updating so I feel what they share is considered and in the best interests of the patient. The social worker, Catherine, guided my family through some tough conversations. My dad left the Mornington Centre in much better shape than he arrived, they helped every element of transition and they supported the whole family. I think they should be proud of the work they do & we as visitors can support them by being kind to everyone on site & friendly to all patients."
"I'm so far really unimpressed with this brand new rehab. Trying to get thru at anytime is hugely ridiculous. The switch does not connect on weekends at all and during the week is not much better. A friend was in there totally blind, very upset having food left in front of her and no one to help. It's distressing for the patients and for the families trying to get thru to even speak to staff. It's resulted in my friend being extremely stressed and feeling forgotten."
"My mum went downhill bad under their *care* leaving her alone sitting in nappies with infections and she was calling us absolutely upset and nothing we could do because of their covid rules not letting us see her... she got so bad that a palative nurse came in from a different center to get her transferred right away to golflinks where they actually finally let us see her and we didnt get much time with her because of the Mornington centre robbing us of it and she passed away under actual care at golflinks. Do not send your loved ones here. Send them to golflinks or anywhere else. I lost my dear mum and I blame the care here...the reviews from everyone else aswell on here says it all......"
