Welcome to D Building Day Clinic, a prominent establishment located in Fitzroy, Victoria Street. As a renowned health institution, we strive to serve something greater, see something greater, and strive for something greater.

Our clinic caters to patients who are visiting St Vincent's for an operation or procedure and are returning home on the same day. To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly request patients to follow the instructions provided in their letters from their Waitlist Officers. Please refrain from contacting Day Procedures between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm, as there is no answering service available.

In the event of any changes in your condition, we urge you to contact your Waitlist Officers with the updated information. For your convenience and safety, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing makeup or nail polish and avoid bringing valuables such as money or jewelry. Instead, wear comfortable walking shoes or slippers and loose clothing. Rest assured, all necessary clothing will be provided.

Whether you choose to arrive by private or public transport, it is crucial that you have an adult accompanying you home by car or taxi upon discharge. If suitable transport arrangements cannot be made, your day procedure may be canceled. Please note that public transport cannot be used for the journey home. To ensure adequate time for preparation, we kindly request that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you anticipate being late, please contact us at (03) 9288 4424. Our Day Procedure Centre operates from 6.30 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Upon arrival, please enter the hospital through the main entrance at Building A - Main Hospital, located in Princes Street off Nicholson Street. Take the lift to the first floor and follow the signs to Day Procedures, where you will be able to register at the reception desk.

Your doctor will provide guidance on the type of anesthesia to be administered after questioning and examining you to assess your needs. Rest assured, your well-being is our top priority.
