"Overall Mecca is a beautiful store to visit, but some workers there seem uninterested when you do not ask or grab a really expensive brand. As well as, when they suggest you a brand or type of product and you decline, they seem to get frustrated and annoyed. Some customers may have a budget, some may not like the brand, some may decline because of the ingredients in the product and the skin type they have. Mecca Maxima is meant to be a place to feel welcomed, not a place to be judged. If the workers have attitude and do want to act that way, I suggest they go home and figure out if they really want to work there, especially in the beauty industry. (It may be time for them to find a new job.)"

"I have been coming to Mecca for years , the products are ok and the service is good but that’s about it really , Customers get nothing in return for their locality , there’s no discount on any items or sales anytime of the year . Sephora is world wide brand with a wide range of products just as good and even better they offer discounts and sales, gifts and vouchers , I get nothing from Mecca 0 .. I spent thousands to realise that I am getting no benefit so I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.. Oh that beauty loop BS you get nothing .. very stingy and selfish of Mecca not to give back. A fancy wrapping and free bag doesn’t cut it .."

She didn’t push me into buying expensive alternatives, instead kept my basket minimal to suit my budget. She immediately sat me on a stool to find my perfect match, and made me so comfortable. She helped me grab some skincare samples for my boyfriend (he wasn’t with me but she was eager to help regardless!) who has eczema and walked me through how I can help him use it and look out for it he has any reactions.
