Chargrill Charlie's Bondi

"Ordered the chicken and gravy roll. Watched as old mate recklessly took to a thigh/leg (didn’t ask me what I wanted) and just chopped the whole thing up and threw it in the roll. Then for the gravy, had to have been 3 scoops. Paid and opened up the roll. Nervous. May as well have been swimming in gravy. It was everywhere. Needed a shower afterwards. First bite, had to extract 12 pieces of wishbone that were no doubt ready to choke me to death. Threw the whole thing away, never to go back again. Utter recklessness, almost a murder. Poor form charcoal/charlie."

"I like the food however the customer service and workers were extremely rude to me. As I entered they begun laughing to one another I assume about my appearance as I had just gone through surgery and was wearing glasses to cover my bloodshot eyes. As I went up to the register they took about 10 seconds to even regard I was standing there waiting for my order to be taken. Finally after giggling to each other and talking amongst themselves they finally paid attention to me without even addressing me just blankly asking what do I want. I paid $20 for my meal and proceeded to sit down where once again they both simultaneously made gestures towards me even whilst I was sitting down insinuating harsh judgment. As I sat there waiting for my chicken schnitzel roll meal I was very uncomfortable and upset as I felt very insecure and confused as to what I had done wrong. After what felt like forever my order was finally ready although it happened to be cold and somewhat a slimy texture. She rudely shouted "CHICKEN SCHNITZEL ROLL" multiple times at me and I got up and got it. After that feeling horrible about myself I walked back to my car and got upset due to my horrible experience. I hope the staff can learn some basic manners and how to treat people nicely instead of acting this way. Thanks"

"Always tries to give you less than what you pay for. Pales in comparison to Rose Bay Chargril Charlie's who still poses value for a local chook shop. Ordering from CC's Bondi through Uber Eats is even worse. Boxes half empty"

"I don't know how it's possible this place has only 3.5 overall. This is a great place and the marinated chicken is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Try to combine it with the honey cooked vegetables and you'll be in heaven. I always come back here when in Bondi (aka everyday)"
