"The lady asked for my details when making a purchase, name, email etc. She didn't explain what for, I figured it was for a warranty, or proof of purchase, or even to email me to receipt for my records. No. She simply made me an account and added me to the mailing list without asking. Sure, I should have asked her what it was for. But that's not my job. She should ask me if I want to join the mailing list. She literally said this, 'I'll just get your details' or something like that. Not 'Do you want to join the mailing list for some sweet deals?' Or 'Do you want to sign up for an account?' No. It's 2023, data privacy is more relevant and important than ever. It's not the place to just trick people into signing up by not telling them what you're using their data for."
"Went into the store on a Saturday, and there was no one on the shop floor. I waited 10 minutes but still no one came out from the back. After waiting longer I had to call the store. The young girl working finally came out and when I politely told her it was me who called she just stared at me blankly. She was a little rude when helping me with my request too. There were other customers waiting to be helped too and some actually left after waiting too long. Maybe they should have 2 staff on instead of just 1 on weekends."
