At Duncan Loasby, we believe in offering a safe space for survivors of complex trauma, addiction, and eating disorders to access the treatment they need. Our comprehensive program includes Individual and Group Therapy, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Art Therapy. Additionally, we offer groups and workshops specifically designed for the family and friends of those who have experienced complex trauma.

As a Centre of Excellence, we also provide training opportunities for practicing and training psychologists and therapists. Our team of individual therapists at Birchtree have extensive experience in working with trauma survivors and understand the complexities that can arise when trust has been broken in the past.

We are dedicated to supporting the healing process by helping individuals find stability and safety in their bodies. Our gentle moving yoga poses and ancient therapeutic art of Tai Chi aim to harmonize the body, emotions, and mind.

One of our key offerings is the Interpersonal Process Group, a model of group work popularized by Irvin Yalom. This group setting allows for interpersonal interactions that provide valuable "here and now" material to support each member's growth towards self-awareness.

In addition to our therapy services, we regularly conduct workshops for clients and their families and friends. These workshops cover a range of topics and are designed to provide valuable information and support. Clinicians can also benefit from our online workshops, specifically tailored to their needs.
