Mini Groovers Dance Classes

Welcome to Mini Groovers Dance Classes, located in Bentleigh East on Tucker Road in Australia. Our establishment is a point of interest for children's dance classes in Melbourne. We offer a range of fun and creative dance classes for children of all ages, from preschoolers to teens.

At Mini Groovers, we believe in providing a safe and supportive environment for children to dance, have fun, and stay fit. Our focus is on building children's self-esteem and confidence while ensuring quality tuition. Through music and dance, children can develop essential life skills. Whether your child participates in our Fairy Ballet, Beat Boppin' Boys, Move & Groove, Groovin' Preps, Little Groovers, or Pocket Rockets class, we prioritize the enjoyment and fun aspects of dancing. While learning correct dance technique, we work together to build self-esteem and confidence, which are crucial for these age groups.

Our founder, Michelle Saunders, is a highly experienced dance professional with over 25 years of experience in dance, performance, and teaching. She holds a Diploma of Dance (MDES), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and an Associate Diploma in Jazz, Tap, and Ballet (ADS). Michelle has a deep passion for teaching the fundamentals of dance, movement, and fitness to children in a fun and nurturing manner.

Mini Groovers offers five different classes, each tailored to specific age groups. These classes are designed to allow students to improve their dance skills while maintaining their enthusiasm and love for dance. As children get older, they can progress through the levels and continue to grow in their dance abilities.

We have two convenient locations for our classes. Our first location is at St. John's Anglican Church in Bentleigh, where classes are held in the hall. The Church Hall, located on the corner of Centre and Tucker Roads, provides a wonderful studio space with a real community feel. Parents are welcome to stay and watch their children enjoy their dance classes.

Our second location is at Highett Youth Club on Livingston Street in Highett. This facility offers a beautiful studio for our dance classes. Parents can also watch their children dance or choose to relax in the fantastic communal area and socialize with other parents and siblings.
