Welcome to Goju Karate, an establishment located in Port Melbourne, Australia. Situated on Graham Street, 437, our institution is recognized as a point of interest and a hub for health and wellness. We are proud to be affiliated with the esteemed Ceberano Martial Arts Academy (CMAA), which operates three dojos in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne - Canterbury, Eltham, and Hawthorn.

At Goju Karate, we offer karate classes for both adults and children. Our classes run from Monday to Thursday, as well as Saturday mornings, providing flexibility for individuals of all ages. Whether you are a novice looking to embark on your karate journey or an advanced practitioner seeking to refine your skills, our experienced instructors cater to all levels of expertise.

Kyoshi Paul Ceberano, the owner and operator of CMAA, brings over 40 years of teaching and training experience to our institution. His unwavering passion for karate is evident in his dedication to providing top-notch instruction and guidance to all our students. With Kyoshi Paul at the helm, Goju Karate is committed to nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and development.

Our class schedule is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of our students. On Mondays and Thursdays, we offer classes such as Novice (6-8 years old), Intermediate (6-10 years old), Advanced Junior (8-12 years old), and Beginner & Advanced Senior. Saturday mornings feature Novice/Intermediate, Older Intermediate, and Advanced Juniors and Adults sessions.

For our younger practitioners, we have specialized classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Ninja class (4-6 years old) aims to introduce children to the fundamentals of karate in a fun and engaging manner. Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Junior classes are also available on these days, catering to different age groups and skill levels.

Our dojos are conveniently located at various venues in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The Canterbury location can be found at the Canterbury Baptist Church on 1 Balwyn Road. For those in the Hawthorn area, our dojo is situated at the Hawthorn Library on 584 Glenferrie Rd. Lastly, Saint Margaret’s Anglican Church on 79-81 Pitt Street in Eltham serves as the venue for our Eltham location.
