"I'm forced to give 1 star to post, otherwise it should be Zero. Beware Patrick Bowman at WLM Periodontist is not a registered 'Periodontist' as at today and just confirmed this with WLM reception this morning after Medicare confirmed this 2 days ago when I was checking Provider #. Apparently, he is a registered Dentist (I haven't checked this part because I don't need a dentist) Patrick provided services to me as a 'Periodontist' on 4 occasions last year which included aesthetic needles etc. at a cost of just under $2k. Although I have no issues with him personally, I do have a major issue with not being notified prior, during or after the services that he was NOT a registered 'Periodontist' which is why I was referred to WLM 'Periodontist' in the 1st place by my local Dentist and charged as such. I only found out through Medicare 2 days ago when I was checking Provider # and I'm in shock. So always ask for the Provider # in advance before you book to confirm. This is misleading and I'll be checking with consumer laws and or registration authorities this week as I'm sure against any code of conduct and or practices etc. WLM reception only informed me this morning only after I called myself to check this issue and they tell me they have since notified patients when they became aware. I pointed out that I was never informed as have no email or call as my services occurred prior to WLM being aware which reception agreed/noted. WLM only let me know because I called to ask this morning. This may be the case or WLM decided not to notify patients who have paid in full to alarm them. I was clear that if I was made aware I would never have gone ahead to be charged nearly $2K (for specialist 'Periodontist' services) for a non-registered Periodontist (who would seriously do or pay that). I have immediately notified my local dentists to not issue referrals to someone not registered as a 'Periodontist' (They were not aware, as you would expect, if your called WLM 'Periodontics' that they are all registered as such and legit). I'm now waiting to hear back from WLM formally to my email I just issued re: serious misconduct in communication and transparency and costs I've outlaid for a specialist service of which this person was not. Also the email WLM reception provided for Patrick appears to have bounced, but the general email on the invoice/receipt has gone through. When I tried to call back WLM several times now to confirm error email it goes straight to voicemail. I wanted to await outcome before I posted this - but since the email provided bounced and I now get voicemail I think it best I post this pronto as annoyed. Again, nothing against Patrick and I'm sure his registration will come through but WLM has not been honest and transparent, and it has cost me allot of money. I'll just end this and say, if there was any negligence that occurred during my procedure (which I'm glad to say did not occur), the issue of his registration as a 'Periodontist' to perform such services of which I paid for and was under the understanding I was receiving, would not be a small thing and quite serious."
