She obtained her Bachelor of Science (Medicine) and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees from the prestigious University of New South Wales. Dr Windsor further specialized in radiation oncology through rigorous training at esteemed hospitals such as Prince of Wales, Westmead, Nepean, and Liverpool in Sydney. Her dedication and expertise led her to become a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2011.

For over 10 years, Dr Windsor has been serving the Central Coast community as a leading specialist in breast and gastrointestinal cancers. She has held significant positions, including Head of Department of Radiation Oncology at the Central Coast Cancer Centre, Gosford Hospital. Dr Windsor's commitment to advancing her field is evident through her involvement in various expert advisory groups, where she contributes to shaping evidence-based practice guidelines in radiation oncology at a state level.

Dr Windsor's passion extends beyond her clinical work. She actively engages in research, clinical governance, quality improvement, education, and community outreach. Education, training, and mentorship are her main areas of focus. As the current Chairperson for the Faculty of Radiation Oncology, RANZCR Phase I exam panel, she leads the specialist exams for Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Within RANZCR, she has held numerous positions, including National Phase 1 lead, National Phase 2 lead, and member of the Education and Training Committee. Dr Windsor has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing state and national educational programs in radiation oncology. She is also a senior lecturer at the University of Newcastle, delivering valuable medical education and contributing to the establishment of the oncology medical student training program at Gosford Hospital.
